Sakyamuni Buddha
A Brief Introduction

Reality of the universe

Sakyamuni is revered to be the founder of Buddhism.  His disciples are called SakyasBhiksu.  That is why Chinese Buddhist monks and nuns place a prefix "Sak" to their names.

The focus of Sakyamuni's contribution to human beings converges on His realization of the reality of the universe - "life being eternal".  Moreover, He taught His disciples theories and techniques on how to transcend this reality.

It can thus be seen that Buddhist's studies is closely knitted to the multiplication and development of the human race.  Consequently, Buddhism has been transmitted without decline for two thousand years.
